how to walk/teleport in ets2/ats
ETS2 walk (free cam/camera 0)/teleport guide
Have you ever wanted to explore the map with your camera or place it whenever you want? For example, if you want to take a photo and the limits of the camera mode don’t let you overpass them, you can use the camera 0 to take the screenshot or to teleport as well.
Well, in this guide I’ll show how you can do that and lots of different things with this new camera mode.
how to activate the freecam (walk mode) in ets2/ats
1. The first thing that you need to have is the game console enabled. I’ve made a guide on this, so you can set it up easily and quickly if you want to check it out before the next steps. In case you already have the game console activated, you can proceed to the following steps.
2. Then, when you are in the game and driving the truck, press the number 0 on your keyboard (not the key from the numpad), and now the camera will be under the truck.
3. Use the following keys from the numpad to move around:
- Move forward: 8
- Move backward: 5
- Move left: 4
- Move right: 6
- Move up: 9
- Move down 3
*If you don’t have a numpad, don’t worry, check out this post from the official SCS Forum where you can learn how to change the keys to move the camera by assigning the keybinds that you want.
4. You can also modify the speed of the freecam/walking mode with the mouse wheel.
how to teleport in ets2/ats
There are two ways for doing this, here I will explain the one that involves using the freecam to place your truck on a specific spot. If you just want to go to a city and don’t mind the specific place that you will be teleported to, then I recommend using the method that I shared on my other guide.
To teleport to a specific location/spot, follow the next steps:
1. Activate the freecam mode by pressing the 0 button on your keyboard.
2. With the controls of the freecam that I explained above, travel to the desired location and position the camera just above the ground.
3. Press Ctrl + F9, and your truck will appear wherever you place the camera.
Now you can use this information to make better screenshots, mod the game, maybe to cheat a little bit, hehe, or however you want to use it 🙂
